As a director, Dan has led countless teens to stage careers through his work with the North Carolina 4-H Performing Arts Troupe and the Teen Arts Program in Raleigh. In musical theatre, Dan has performed in leading roles all over North Carolina and is a Soloist, Assistant Music Director, and accompanist at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Raleigh. He also leads Stone Soup, an a capella vocal ensemble born out of The Oakwood Waits, (a Dickensian caroling group), of which Dan was a founding member.
Dan believes that everyone can sing when they discover their voice! By achieving a basic understanding of how the voice works, Dan’s students will develop their singing and speaking skills as well as self confidence and stage presence. Dan has helped singers of all ages prepare for auditions, scholarships and competitions in Classical, Musical Theatre, Religious and Contemporary styles.
