Gabrielle Cleveland is a career status General Music Teacher for Durham Public Schools. She has been teaching piano lessons for a couple of years and enjoys the student driven learning experience that one on one instruction provides for her students. Aside from teaching, Gabrielle serves as a worship leader and musician at her church and is involved in various ministry activities. In 2011, Gabrielle graduated from North Carolina Central University with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education (Instrumental Concentration). During her tenure at NCCU; Gabrielle was initiated into the Epsilon Lambda (NCCU) Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority and served as a charter member of the Lambda Omega (NCCU) chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity for Women. Gabrielle is currently pursuing her National Board Teaching Certification in Early and Middle Childhood Music. She enjoys facilitating opportunities for her students to have meaningful and positive experiences and also seeing them grow musically. She appreciates the uniqueness of each of her students and believes that each student has the ability to accomplish greatness.
