Recommended by former voice teacher, Claire Cooper, Madeline was also trained at UNC-CH, studying classical singing, and received her Bachelor's Degree there. While at UNC she was a Concerto Competition Winner in 2017, and a Kenan Music Scholar all four years. Madeline also attended high school at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts where she received a diploma in Music Performance. Unlike many classical singers, Madeline also loves contemporary styles of vocal music, and is currently pursuing performing opportunities with friends, creating her own special brand of vocal magic. A supportive and encouraging teacher, Madeline looks forward to working with CHSMA students to give them the vocal technique and stylistic guidance that will allow them to pursue any genre of singing they enjoy.
